Why do Jewish women wear a wig?

Religious women look even more beautiful with long wigs.
Why is necessary to wear a wig? Thks a lot!!

Wearing a sheitel a wig,
in the Talmud we learn that a Jewish married women is obligated to cover her hair from the wedding onward. This is included in what is called dat moshe and dat yehudis the way a jewish women who follows Moshe rabbnu and the Jewish tradition is supposed to act.
The halacha goes so far that one is not allowed to recite a bracha in front of the uncovered hair of a married women as it is considered ervah (can lead to improper thoughts) even if it is ones own wife.
(some hold that the women can leave one tefach of hair uncovered which that means 8 by 8 centimeters – they allow to leave across the width of the forehead 4 centimeters up they hold that the obligation to cover starts from there onward, it is important to note that many who follow this leniency mistakenly add to the 4 centimeters.)
it is important to note that according to many halachic authorities this leniency does not exist as the Shulchan aruch does not write such allowance and so is the consensus of halachic authorities , The Lubavitcher Rebbe strongly discouraged the practice by adding, one who acts in such a manner is trying fool who? g-d the world? Or just herself. and importantly according to the kabbalah one should not reveal even one hair from the head.
the way how the hair can be covers it can either be done with a tichel – cloth shawl. yet another way how one can cover their hair according is by a wig as it also covers the women’s natural hair although the wig is made up of natural hair yet nonetheless that hair has already been removed from the head it does not have the issue of uncovered hair. true that this can be nicer this takes care of the problem of having uncovered hair.
and in truth the wig sheitel is is even better than a cloth – tichel as with a tichel some of the hairs inevitably will stick out from under the tichel which according to kabbalah this is of great concern, another problem with a tichel is that the women will always have the desire to take it off or move it back which this is a constant challengefor her, therefore the Lubavitcher Rebbe strongly recommended that the women wear a shaitel – wig so that she doesn’t have this constant challenge of the desire to remove the tichel shawl.
Some have the custom to wear a hat or cover on their wig yet nonetheless the Rebbe discouraged that idea as one mistakenly think that the reason that hat covering because there is no wig but just a cover on the hair cause why would one have two coverings and one will mistakenly wear a just a hat
in the Talmud and the Shulchan aruch we find great restriction that one should not go out doors with a single covering rather it should be a double covering yet with a wig one truly is wearing a double covering as the mesh reshet is considered the first covering and the hair on top is the second covering .
If the shatel wig is very long or attractive then it is problematic however that is not part of the laws covering ones hair rather this is a detail in the laws of tzniyus modesty which is a another issue.
The reward for covering ones hair properly is truly great as our rabbis in the Zohar have written the in merit of the mother covering her hair she ushers in blessing spiritual blessings and physical blessings wealth , children and grandchildren.
And certainly one who wishes blessing in their marriage will act in such a way.
