What does the word “Chabad” mean

I recently visited a Chabad House. Could you please explain what the word “Chabad” means?

“Chabad” is an acronym for Chochmah, Binah, and Da’at, which represent three
types of intellectual powers. The Chabad movement is thus called because its founder,
Rabbi Shneur Zalman of Liadi (1745-1813), based his philosophy on internal change of emotional
makeup and attributes through learning and contemplation.
