Verification of Josephus Flavius

Hi my name is Sam and recently my brother gave me a book called Antiquity of the Jews by Flavius Josephus. Ever since I read the second part, I have had a belief crisis. In the second part, Josephus Flavius, a jewish priest records the history of christians, from their bible, which convinced me it was true. I asked my dad for help, and he just told me that it is ridiculous fake content that I should be never be worried about. I try to convince myself that this is true, but then I recall the book I read about Flavius Josephus where he describes what happened. They say that Flavius Josephus records facts only as he was of the same period of the christians. Please can you help me pull myself together? I would prefer an email , but a call would be fine as well. Thank you.

Shalom and thank you for your question!

Although to the best of my knowledge Josephus Flavius recorded historical facts fairly accurately. I do not know if the same can be said for matters of theology, since he is said to have deserted the faith at some point.

If you share with us exactly which points bother you, we can try to resolve them for you.

All the best!

To Sam,
I would like to point out also that seeking answers as you are doing,is an excellent alternative to convincing yourself, and very commendable!
