Selling shares according to exchange rate

The Rav Name: Rabbi Boaz Yurkowitz

Is it permissible to give an instruction to sell or purchase a share when the exchange rate reaches a certain value, and that could happen on Shabbat, in which case it is as if I am buying or selling on Shabbat? The company I work with and its workers are not Jews.

It is permissible to give an instruction to buy or sell at a certain exchange rate, since the instruction was not to buy or sell on Shabbat specifically, especially since the company and its workers are not Jewish, and are doing this action for their own benefit.
