My mother’s family was Sephardi. My father wasn’t Jewish. How do I determine whether to follow Ashkenazi or Sephardi traditions?

The basic answer is that in a case where only the mother is Jewish, one should follow the tradition of the Jewish mother, in terms of the choice between Sephardic or Ashkenazic tradition.
