Women’s clothing according to Judaism

I would like to understand why religious women wear long sleeves and put on pantyhose in the summer, I find it a bit false, are they not hot? Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to ask comfortably through this link

One of the very important halachos for the Jewish women is the halachot of
Tzniut – modesty that one a women covers certain parts of he body for if they would be revealed they can cause unwanted attention by men.
There are different halchot regarding what needs to be covered as what causes the yetzer hara the evil inclination to work,
one who follows g-d will follow the laws of modesty according to his directives given in the Shulchan aruch and Jewish custom .

In a deeper meaning

Tzniut in its greater sense is dignity and self-respect, an understanding of one’s intrinsic self-worth.
The body is the holy creation of G d. It is the sacred house of the soul. The way we maintain our respect for the body is by keeping it covered because it is so beautiful and precious.
In a world where the woman’s body has been reduced to a cheap advertising gimmick, we need no proof for the truth of this wisdom. Where all is exposed, nothing is sacred. But that which is truly precious to us, we cover .
When a woman acts and dresses in a tzniut way, she effectively tells the world that she expects to be judged as a human being with skills and capabilities, intellect and emotions, and not as a “piece of meat” that is being displayed to attract the attention of a buyer.

With all this in mind , it is important to follow the laws of modesty as they are recorded in Jewish law with no need to add or decrease from what’s written there.
