Carrying an aquarium on Rosh Hashana
Before Rosh Hashana the gabbai purchased a small plastic aquarium for the synagogue, with a few fish for the Mitzvah of Tashlich, and put it on top of a tall cupboard so that children would not touch it. Is it permissible to move it on Rosh Hashana and put it on a table so that Tashlich may be performed?
Answer: It is permissible to move the aquarium on Shabbat and Yomtov, but specifically the simple one you mention. It is not permissible however, to move one which has electric devices.
