It is permissible to wash children’s clothing that has become dirty during the days from Rosh Chodesh Av (the beginning of the Jewish month of Av) and up until the 9th (no laundry at all being is done on that day), and what is the defining age for ‘children’ in this context?
Some halachic authorities say that one can wash clothing of children till the age of six or seven, and some authorities say till the age of eight.
