im a taxi driver. Am I allowed to rent my taxi to a non-jew in order for him to use it on SHABAT?
it is allowed only if done in a specific way. You should rent the taxi from Thursday and you can only get either a fixed sum from him or be a partner and share the profits. It is not permitted to give the non-jew a fixed salary and keep all the profits to yourself.
