the best way will be for you to go with her (or her sister in law or mother in law Because with them there is no din YICHUD), if that’s not an option, she can go to see the doctor only if there are other people (secretary, other patients etc.) In that place, who can get into the room. Also it’s better to leave the door slightly open.
