I sell Mezuzot in a Chabad House, and various sorts of people come to purchase from me. Should I be careful to sell a Sefardi Mezuzah to a Sefardic Jew, and an Ashkenazi Mezuzah to an Ashkenazic Jew?
Answer
People who were not previously observant but have now strengthened their Torah observance, do not have to continue their parents’ traditions since they have gone away from them anyway. So you can give them a Sefardic or Arizal Mezuzah without a problem.
