REPEATING LAST LINE OF SHEMA

When a person who is praying without a minyan reaches the end of the Shema Yisrael prayer, he should repeat the last words ‘Ani HaShem Elokeichem’, with the addition of the word ‘Emet’, so that he has added ‘Ani HaShem Elokeichem Emet’. When praying in a minyan, after he has done as above, he waits for the chazzan and then continues with the congregation from ‘Emet v’Yatziv…’
