If milk spilled into a meat vessel that had meat in it within the previous 24 hours, what is the Halachic status of the milk, and of the vessel itself?

  • Answer
The milk may be used unless an additional 24 hours passed when the milk was in the meat utensil, 48 hours altogether. The utensil itself, however, may not be used, unless it undergoes a kashering process.
