Amount of Shofar blasts to be blown on Mitzva campaign
There are Shlichim who blow the Shofar on Rosh Hashana in hospitals, old age homes, and other such places. If they blow 30 blasts in each place this can weaken them and prevent them from continuing to blow in other places where it is needed, or it can prevent them from having enough time to blow in all the necessary places. Is it possible for them to blow nine blasts instead of thirty in order to manage to blow in all those places? If so, should they blow ‘Tashrat, Tashat, Tarat’ or three times Tashrat?
Answer: In the Mitzvah campaign of Shofar, there must also be thirty blasts in each place. If the person blowing has indeed become so weakened that he is unable to blow thirty blasts, he could blow three times Tashrat, but without a blessing.

There are no hard and fast rules about white shirts. In general, a white shirt is considered to be a modest but respectable garment, and a person should wear clothing that is respectable.

Also, part of the day is spent standing in prayer in front of the Creator, and this certainly warrants respectable attire.

In any case, the main thing is not the external garments, but rather the spiritual ones, namely, a person’s thought, speech, and deed. Physical clothing is only a means to the end, the goal being purity of spiritual garments.
