Is it permissible for the pregnant wife of a Cohen to do mivtzaim in a hospital, or should she be concerned about the possibility of the presence of the dead?
It is permissible for the pregnant wife of a Cohen to be in the hospital area, despite the possible proximity of the dead, since the fetus is totally enclosed by the body. When she needs to give birth, some Cohanim try to find a hospital facility where there is no proximity to the dead, but if necessary one can be lenient.
