Is it permissible to have lotteries at children’s Shabbat gatherings?
Answer: It is permissible only by means of a book, for example: Each person chooses a number, and the one whose number is closest to the Gematriya (numerical value of Hebrew letter) of the first word in the book that is opened – is the winner.
